00:00 - Lots to Cover

00:18 Save As Previous Version
Mark kicks us off with one of the most anticipated enhancements ever - Save As Previous Release. This enhancement lets you save your parts, assemblies, or drawings up to 2 versions in reverse.

00:56 Hole Wizard Sketch
Next, we see a great improvement to the hole wizard. Now, you can use existing sketch entities instead of relying on the point tool.

01:33 Sheet Metal Stamp Tool
Later, Mark takes us through the new Stamp Tool for SOLIDWORKS Sheet Metal. New in SOLIDWORKS 2024, you can create a stamp feature without needing a forming tool. This speeds up your design process and consolidates commands into a single feature.

02:08 Rules-Based Defeature
Mark then reviews the latest enhancement to the defeature tool - a rules-based defeature. This accelerates the process of simplifying your models and improves the security of your models.

03:25 Auto-Repair Mates
If you've ever found your circular or linear pattern broken by a mate reference switching features, this is your enhancement. The auto-repair feature will find features relative to the original mate position and attempt to repair it with a single click.

04:11 Compare Result Plots
Mark shows off a great enhancement for SOLIDWORKS Plastics next. Now, you can compare the results of multiple studies all at once using split views. This makes it easy to compare the results of different tests and draw conclusions more quickly.

04:48 Align Preview
Mark's last enhancement is for SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D Cabinet Layouts. Now you can align components along the 4 major directions as well as evenly space components as required.

05:17 Share and Markup
Jesse's turn to show off his favorite new features and he kicks off with a way to share files with external users. What's especially powerful is that users don't need a full license of SOLIDWORKS to participate in the share and markup process!

07:00 Export Models to Presentation Templates
Our next enhancement makes it easier to export 3D model data directly into a formatted PowerPoint template. Now, you can quickly prepare for a design review meeting without worrying about screenshots and populating model data.

07:15 Change Feature Type on the Fly
In the xTools, you can now quickly switch from one feature to another. In Jesse's final example, he changes from an extrusion to a sweep and never has to cancel a command to do it.
