Back in the 90s, I was a huge fan of the original Sony PlayStation. I played countless hours on my own unit until it was replaced with a PS2 and then PS3. Eventually I gave my original PS1 to a friend who told me that it stopped reading discs so he tossed it.

Fast forward to several months ago and I was given another unit. (It was about to be sent to e-waste!) The console is in nice condition and still seems to play CDs without issue. I wanted to check out some of the home brew titles that were released for this console in the last few years so I decided it was time to mod this unit.
