Deut 5:4 The Lord spoke to you face to face out of the fire on the mountain. (The Lord has always desired to be close and speak to us directly- but few desire this level of intimacy with the Lord. This chapter shows that the people preferred to have Moses speak for the Lord rather than hearing from Him directly.)

Josh 6:8 When Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets before the Lord went forward, blowing their trumpets, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant followed them. (the shofar called the army into action)

Isaiah 2
