Deep in Hua Mae Kham mountains of Mae Fah Luang district in the northernmost province of Chiang Rai, there is a hill-top temple with solitary monk. The monk in question is Kung-Fu master and keeps to himself. He does not like pictures of him taken, especially when demonstrating his martial arts skills. He will gladly show you his skills but you will be politely asked to put all cameras away. Hence, most of my footage of the temple comes from a drone that I launched from the main road, some 500 meters away. I did it in such a manner as not to invade his privacy. Going up the hill is not easy during the rainy season, with mud up to the neck and I got stuck in the mud too. Otherwise, during the winter and summer months, it can be done without a problem.
