If you find yourself asking how to cut fine hair in layers or how to cut fine hair to make it look thicker or how to cut fine hair for volume then a razor haircut may be the type of cut you're looking for when you go to the salon and visit your hairstylist or perhaps you want to try doing this at home - although I do think going to a professional who has experience in razor cuts will likely provide the best results. Razor cuts are a great technique for people with 1A or 1B or 1C or 2A or 2B hair - or any type of fine or thin hair where you're looking for volume - this can also work on thick hair to take weight off and add more movement. Someone with more coily or curls may not be the best candidate for a razor haircut. The razor cut does work well if you have fine hair but a lot of density or even for really thick hair if you're looking to take off some of the thickness of hair to add more texture and volume.
