About Fred Wilson

Fred Wilson has been a venture capitalist since 1987. He currently is a managing partner at Union Square Ventures and also founded Flatiron Partners. He writes the popular "A VC" blog ("musing of a VC in NYC"), and is a thought leader in the venture capital finance community.

He has invested in numerous game-changing tech companies, including Twitter, del.icio.us, Etsy, and FeedBurner. Fred has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
