This Opel GT drag car has been off the track for years, but it has lots of great parts and will make an easy project to put back into service. We plan to address some of the brake issues and steering issues and then go see what this little lightweight drag car can do. I hope to someday track down the history and give this car the attention it deserves.

You may have seen bits and pieces of this car in previous videos, as it was briefly featured on my video about Denny George's crazy car collection, as well as a video from the Pikeville, TN cruise in, where Denny roasted the back tires right in the middle of downtown.

The car has a strong 327 in it with double hump heads, so it's an old school combo, but you can tell it has some big compression and a big cam. The rest of the details are unknown but we'll see how well this thing performs in the coming weeks and months. For now, it's yet another conversation piece inside the Hot Rod Hoarder garage.
