In this video I am interviewing Conor Neill on this topic. Conor wrote one of the most read article about this topic. We are talking why it is a booster to your meetings and why this could be a game changer for your meetings. It will level up your decisions and quality of your meetings. Why?! In general because it is harder to write a really good 6 page memo than a 20 Slides PowerPoint presentation with bullet points and it forces deep thinking. With a good written memo helps the different kinds of people to express their ideas and prevents that decisions are made on the popularity bias. Everything needs to be thought through and is written down so that before starting the actual meeting everyone get 30 minutes to read this paper. Everyone will be on the same level and the following discussions and decisions will be of more quality and meetings will no longer time you spend on discussing but on thinking things through and understanding the thoughts and ideas of others.
