Young people of Punjab are perennially trapped in disenchantment with their state and in an irrational yearning to migrate. They no longer find education a path to a secure, successful future. 'There is no scope in Punjab. So why spend time studying?', they tell ThePrint. The experts said that the industry & agriculture have stagnated in the state. And the education has not evolved with the changing global markets. There is a need for an overhaul in the state where high-tech and knowledge-driven industry is brought to set up base in Punjab.
