The slammed and supercharged LS3 swapped Chevy C10 is finally hitting the road this week! Last episode you saw us tour the Vossen wheel factory down in Miami to pick up our custom 3 piece wheels for our truck. Now that we have some wheels to roll on, we're ready to take this truck for its very first test drive! Before we can hit the open road though, there are two quick steps we need to do. We need our friend Chris at Blow By Racing to give the truck a base tune, and we need to do a quick nut and bolt check on the truck and make some small adjustments to our exhaust. But with all that out of the way, we can finally rip this C10 on the streets and hear that Whipple whine! We're able to a few solid miles on the build before bringing it back over to Blow By Racing and putting it on the Dyno. We try 3 times to get a good pull from the truck, but our TCU and ECU keep acting up. We can't keep the truck from up shifting into overdrive and our TCU keeps telling the ECU that the truck is in park once it hits that 6th gear. We don't want to seriously damage anything in this brand new build, so for the sake of safety, we pull the truck off the dyno and do some trouble shooting. We think we have it all sorted out so we decide to trailer the truck over to Freddy from Spec Tuned to borrow Gizmo's Power Factory's hub Dyno. Unfortunately though, we have a similar issue on this dyno as we did the day before on Chris's dyno. 6th gear pulls are way too hard on the dynos and we can't keep the truck from shifting out of 4th or 5th gear to complete a real-deal hit, so we're unable to get a good reading on what our peak horsepower and torque would be. But even with a part-throttle pull, we were able to squeeze close to 500 horsepower out of our supercharged LS3, which makes us pretty confident that on E85, with this thing fully tuned and doing full pulls on the dyno, we'll be able to hit over 700 horsepower with this truck! But that will have to wait for another day!

While we are able to rip around in this C10 now, this build is not done. Make sure to like and subscribe because we're going to be showing you guys how to build a custom stained wood raised bed floor, as well as how to fabricate a motorized hatch to give you access to everything below that C-notch!
