If this is your 1st time here, welcome! Or if you’ve been here since my 1st upload, thanks for being a part of the journey!

In this video my son and I take a day trip to the mountains for some Jeeping and hiking.
Hurricane Creek Road/ Trail, is an offroad trail located in Western North Carolina. It starts directly off Interstate 40 Westbound. For exact directions pay attention to the Harmon Den sign in the video. That’s the best point of reference. There are some privately owned cabins at the start of the road so be respectful of the property owners. This trail can be done in 2 hours or less, and most stock 4x4’s should be able to make it. Good tires and ground clearance are your best friends here. There are a few free dispersed campsites along the trail. The trail comes out onto some gravel forest service roads.
After the trail we took a short drive down the gravel road to Max Patch for an easy hike with some amazing 360° views. Just a note, camping is no longer allowed at Max Patch. So it’s much cleaner and quieter since they banned that.
