Introduction
The title of the Surah refers to Ayahs (Verses) 112-115 of the surah, when Jesus' disciples asked Jesus to ask Allah for a table spread of food.
The main topics of this Surah are Isa (Jesus) and Musa (Moses) missions, as well as the claim that their messages are distorted by non-believing Jews and Christians.
It begins by specifying which animals are forbidden and which are permissible to consume. These are verse 1 and verse 3.
Verse 32 explicitly forbids murder: "For this reason did We prescribe to the children of Israel that whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men; and whoever keeps it alive, it is as though he kept alive all men; and certainly Our apostles came to them with clear arguments, but even after that many of them certainly act extravagantly in the land."
