Spring is flying by and I have not been as diligent with my videos. Now that the barn is dried in, we re moving along fast. Drywall is now complete. I am making my paint selections. Tile should be started this week. Also, a major improvement on the exterior: a fabulous driveway!

In order to get a second electric pole up to the barn, Middle TN electric required that: (i) part of the pole barn is removed (variance from pole is 20') and (ii) a sturdy driveway is in place to accommodate the heavy electric trucks. We completed both and expect the second pole to be in in about 4 weeks or so. There is significant lead time considering all of the new construction in middle TN. Securing the second pole will be huge- then we can run electric in the barn from a permanent pole and get rid of the temp one that we have been using for construction. This also means that we can get the HVAC set up and propane (both need electricity). This upcoming week is calling for LOTS of rain- UGH! I was hoping we could start on the septic install. The septic should not take too long once started, but we are at the mercy of the weather getting it installed and then approved by the county. Hopefully electric and toilets are working by the end of May. Stay tuned.
