Blue Lock-offs: Use One or Two?
This video shows the original lock-offs - where Clek recommended using just one. All Fllo’s made in the past several years have newer lock-offs that are hinged, like a ski-boot lock. If you have the newer lock-offs, use BOTH. Watch this    • Tricks on closing Clek's rear facing ...   if you are having trouble closing the newer lock-offs. The older lock-offs are safe, but really finicky. You can order the newer lock-offs from Clek and replace them as shown here    • How to switch out the Clek rear facin...

Can’t Fit Between the Fllo and the Roof of the Car?
When installing Fllo on one of the side seats, you can often use the “tug of war” technique shown here    • Install a rear facing Clek (does not ...   to get Fllo tight, rather than having to put your stomach on the top of the seat for pressure. For center seat installations you can not do the tug of war technique as the car seat will not stay in the center.

Babies Who Can NOT Sit Upright Unsupported:
Wheninstalling Fllo for an infant who can NOT sit upright unsupported, please make sure you are using the Clek Infant Thingy and that Fllo is reclined so that the white recline line on the side of the seat labeled "for under 22 pounds" is parallel to the pavement. You may need to use a tightly rolled towel or sheet under the recline foot to make the Fllo sit a little more reclined than your vehicle seat would otherwise allow. Also, the anti-rebound bar will typically make the Fllo sit more reclined - so make sure to use that as well.

Anti-Rebound Bar:
Clek allows the Fllo to be installed rear-facing with or without the anti-rebound bar (ARB). We recommend using the ARB whenever possible - as it is a safety feature that limits the motion of the car seat towards the back of the car, making it unlikely your child’s head will hit the back of the vehicle seat. It also adds stability in a side impact. If the Fllo is taking up too much room into the front seat, try installing it in the center seat where it often tucks nicely between the front seats and lets them both move back. If Fllo needs to go on the side and is pushing the front seat too far up, remove the ARB and you will notice the car seat takes up less room into the front seat. The installation technique as shown in the video is the same with or without the ARB. If you are in the market for a new car seat, note that the Clek Foonf takes up 1-2 inches less room into the front seat than Fllo when both are installed on the side seats.
