The 2021 Honda Pilot features the 9-speed transmission across the range, and essentially, that's the big change with the 2021 model year. However, this is my first experience with the Pilot so I was keen to see what this midsize Honda SUV was like to live with. With new competitors like the Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride and more traditional competitors like the Ford Explorer, Mazda CX-9 and Toyota Highlander, how does the simply designed Pilot stack up?
