UNEP Executive Director Inger Andersen welcomes the world to the sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-6) in Nairobi. With more than 7,000 registered participants from 182 countries, the Assembly will focus on environmental multilateralism to accelerate the global campaign against the triple planetary crisis of climate change, nature and biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste.
