Super-apps are ubiquitous and game changing in Asia, but despite 8+ years of Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and PayPal, there are still no super-apps in the U.S. Learn how a serial MIT entrepreneur and former head of Samsung Pay and serial MIT entrepreneur is building a universal super-app that goes beyond payments with 1-tap rewards, offers, support that works across channels, devices and tender. Super-app communities will change the way we interact and transact everywhere. "Mr. Graylin is an innovator and entrepreneur, having founded 6 high-tech ventures, been an executive leader and board member for Fortune 500 companies, a military officer, and is an active philanthropist. He is currently the Chairman and CEO of OV Loop, Inc., a super-app platform (think WeChat for the U.S.). Plus Indigo Technologies, with patented Robotic Wheels breakthrough to deliver a whole new class of smoother, roomier and more affordable light EVs. Mr. Graylin was former Global Co-GM of Samsung Pay after Samsung acquired his company LoopPay. Mr. Graylin also founded ROAM Data, world’s largest white label supplier of Square-like mPOS solutions. Mr. Graylin us currently serving on the Board of Synchrony Financials as well as several high-tech startups. He is serving as Chairman of non-profit Global Unites (youth movement for conflict transformation, in 13 countries) Mr. Graylin immigrated to the U.S. from China at the age of 12, he earned two Bachelors degrees from the University of Washington (Electrical Engineering Computer Science/EECS and Chinese Linguistics), and earned two Masters degrees from MIT (MS EECS and MS Business), and is currently a Connection Science Fellow with MIT Media Lab. Mr. Graylin has numerous patents on payments, security and voice-powered communications. His service to his country includes 6 years as a U.S. Nuclear Submarine Officer, and his family continues this tradition with two son in the United States Naval Academy.
