Hey everyone, today's video is on the situation where Shane Gillis was fired from Saturday Night Live, and how afterwards he became a star anyway. As a huge fan of Shane Gillis, I think this story is a piece of comedy lore that is incredibly interesting and worth documenting based on all the hate Shane would receive just to become one of the biggest working comedians over the course of the next few years. I don't generally like using the term "canceled" or "cancel culture" but I would say what Shane experienced is probably one of the closest things to it. However, he would go on to be praised by legendary comedians such as Dave Chappelle, Louis C.K, Norm Macdonald, Bill Burr, and many more. Hopefully you guys enjoyed this videos. Also... Hi Shane.
