The government has finally published its plans for achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

They include grants of up to five thousand pounds for households to replace boilers with energy efficient  heat pumps and subsidies for electric cars.

It's claimed over 400,000 jobs will be created in the process but critics have warned the plans don't go far enough
