“Seeing a vision become a reality”: the Aga Khan University has started construction of its Kampala campus. The First Lady of #Uganda, Her Excellency Janet Museveni, Princess Zahra Aga Khan, Cornelia Penzel, KFW Country Director and #AKU President Sulaiman Shahabuddin all spoke at the ceremony.

The 60-acre campus will significantly expand the School of Nursing and Midwifery in #Kampala and will allow the University to begin training medical specialists. It will also host the Aga Khan University Hospital, Kampala, which will offer care in nearly two dozen specialties.
