Randomfrankp recently showed off an awesome RGB ring light that is perfect for product photography in his April "Cool Tech Under $50" video. The only problem is that it sold out almost immediately. Time for 3D printing to come to the rescue again! With only a few grams of PLA and an LED strip that I purchased from my local discount store, I was able to make my own for only $7!
A big thank you to Elegoo for sending their new Neptune 2 to me in order to make this video! This little printer packs an awesome punch and can be purchased for only $160! If you're in the market for a new 3D printer, be sure to check it out here: https://amzn.to/3ft0s8j
To make this project, you will need the following things:
- 1 RGB LED Strip (I picked mine up from Five Below (not sponsored), but you can also grab them online here): https://amzn.to/2PoVT4o
- Black PLA: https://amzn.to/3gCnjik
- Clear PLA: https://amzn.to/3vlur74
- STL Files: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:484...
If you'd instead like to get the RGB light shown off in randomfrankp's video, you can grab it here (when it's back in stock!): https://amzn.to/3evWBoX
