A three day adventure to experience the new Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser. We took our two grandsons on this latest Disney experience.

The Starcruiser Halcyon is much more than just a Disney Hotel, or a theme park ride. It is a role playing experience of being in your own Star Wars story that begins from the moment you arrive at the Earth base station. Here your story begins as Disney cast members escort you into the shuttle craft where you take off to arrive on the Starship Halcyon, a 250 year old vacation cruise ship, a part of the fleet of the Chandrila Star Line. We are escorted to our Cabin on Deck 4 where we are greeted by D3-09, a hostess droid that appears on our communications screen. After a lunch, we do some exploring of the ship and then attend a greeting from the cruise director, Lenka Mok and Captain Keevan conducts the standard Muster Drill. The Drill is interrupted interrupted by Lt. Croy, an officer of The First Order who boards to investigate the crew and passengers for Resistance Scum. The passengers divide in to two main alliances and the adventure begins.

On day two we have the option to visit Black Spire Outpost on the Planet of Batuu where we pilot the Millennium Falcon to collect a secret cargo, and then sneak into the another ship and join the Rise of the Resistance, These two adventures are not in this video but located elsewhere on this You Tube channel. Our two grandsons next receive their Lightsaber building ceremony and then we head back to the ship. The adventure continues, into the night as we struggle to recapture the Halcyon from the First Order.

On day three we complete our journey after returning to Earth. Our story ends with a parting farewell from the Droid SK620, that says, May the Force Be With You and Let The Stars Light Your Way.

Note- The Starcruiser adventure has many events happening simultaneously and it is not possible to experience everything by one person. Instead you choose your path and be a part of the story that guides you on various missions with a theme of, "Together, As One." The kids had a fantastic time but so did all the adults. However this adventure is best for those who are fans of the Star Wars stories and are willing to play a part. Without that background, it won't be a fun experience because you may not understand what is going on.
