Installing new rear brakes on the F150 is a simple project. My brake pads and rotors both need to be changed at about the 50,000 mile mark on my 2018 F150. I walk through step by step the process of changing the rear brakes on my truck which is equipped with an Electronic Parking Brake.

This should be the same for:2015-2020 F150s equipped with the electronic rear parking brake.

Without doing the electronic parking brake procedure, the caliper piston may not be able to be compressed back which will not let you install the rear pads.

For any vehicle you change brakes on, always ensure the torque numbers are correct from a service manual.
