This lecture has a very important message for us as a community. Don’t let our country ruin itself by being oppressors and transgressors to the weak and poor. Go back to Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet (saw). This lecture, by Sheikh Omar Suleiman, provides an amazing reminder to change our mindset such that we are provided for in accordance with how we view the weak in our society. According to a Hadith of the Prophet (saw), to gain help from our Creator, we should not only support the movers of the society but we must especially remember and help the weak and not just financially.
