I'll show you how to reduce campfire smoke from a fire pit by getting fresh air to your fire pit and reduce pesky camp fire smoke.
This design does not require the fan to be used. It's only there to use when the wood is damp, or I want to create a hot fire quickly, then the fan can be turned off, OR NOT USED AT ALL.
