Video chapter links below description.
Every year, Debbie Jorde and her son and daughter, Logan and Heather Madsen, speak to first-year medical students at the University of Utah in Dr. Lynn Jorde's Human Genetics Course.

Heather and Logan were both born with the rare disease, Miller syndrome, and a rare lung disease called Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, PCD. They also have autism. Their talks are enlightening and informative for not only medical students, and medical professionals, but also the general public.

Debbie Jorde shares what each of their births were like for her. She didn't know they would be born with disabilities. Geneticists told her it would never happen again after her first baby's birth. That's not what happened. Three years later, on April Fool's Day, Debbie's second baby was born with the same rare disabilities as her first.
