On March 14th, OCSO Deputy Ben Hayden responded to an urgent call about a newborn in distress.

Arriving on the scene, he found a mother in panic, holding her baby who wasn't breathing. Without hesitation, Deputy Hayden took the baby and administered first aid, successfully getting the baby to breathe again.

He continued to care for the infant until paramedics arrived. The baby is now safely back home, thanks to Deputy Hayden's quick actions. We're proud to have deputies like Ben Hayden serving our community.
