Rudy Noorlander survived a grizzly bear attack in Big Sky, Montana, despite having his jaw bitten off and suffering other severe injuries. Now he is sharing his story with KUTV's Jim Spiewak.

Big Sky is about 51 miles north of Yellowstone National Park along the Gallatin River. After undergoing several reconstructive surgeries in at the University of Utah Health System, Noorlander shared his story for the first time, providing insights into the harrowing incident.

"I'm very fortunate to be alive," Noorlander said.
