Welcome back, ScreenRanters! We’re delighted to see your beautiful faces again. While Marvel are currently the biggest superhero filmmakers, DC has a longer history in cinema than the MCU. With that long, storied history, comes many actors that have been linked to big roles within the DCEU. Many of those actors have even been given a role by Warner Brothers. Only for the actor to turn it down for one reason or another. Today, we’re going to look at some of the instances when an actor has slapped DC’s offer out of their hands and why.

Now for the spoiler paragraph on what you can expect to see today. One of the actors is Will Smith who was offered Superman. But it turned it down for a particular reason. Another performer is Leonardo DiCaprio who could have been the Boy Wonder, Robin. One of the entries involves a James Bond thespian that could have been Batman in the eighties and nineties. We have Sandra Bullock and her relationship to the character of Wonder Woman. There’s also Jack Black who was linked to a bizarre Green Lantern film.
