This ventilator shares parts from other designs but takes it a few stages further. It has a remote mask with air in valve and also an adjustable air out PEEP valve. This means no stale air is forced into the lungs and also lungs have resistance to out-breath. The mask also has a breath request meaning no sedation is required as it will only provide helping air when you request a breath as diaphragm retracts creating negative pressure within mask.
