Hyundai is spinning off its new electric sub-brand with and astonishing beauty. The Ioniq 5 is a mid-size crossover with elegant hatchback proportions. Whatever you want to call it it’s a sexy damn thing on 4 wheels and a large battery under its floor. The design is modern and stylish, the Z shaped creases on the sides are part of Hyundai’s new design language.

As for most part of new Electric vehicles Hyundai Ioniq 5 is no exception – the design is not only aesthetic but also practical, maximizing aerodynamic efficiency. The Wheels are aero-optimized, that sizes up to 20-inches, the door handles are flushed in the doors, the hood is clamshell type. The front lights are arguably one of the coolest accents on the car - it parametric pixel lights looks like they would been dragged straight from HQ display.

The powertrain comes with either 58kWh or 72.6kWh battery pack combined with a rear single electric motor or a dual-motor version and four-wheel drive. With the 58kWh battery the Ioniq 5 will jump from 0-60mph in 7.4 seconds and drive up to 300 miles. The 72.6kWh version will sprint from 0-62mph in 5,2 seconds. Hyundai claims that the Ioniq 5 can be charged from 10 percent to 90 percent in 18 minutes using a 350-kW charger, which is a notable charging speed.
