In my previous depreciation analysis of the Ftype I already showed you that the depreciation curve is quite steep. This means that, if you buy this exotic car from new, you can expect to lose some money quickly. However, it also means that the used cars offer great value for money. They might be not be as good as Porsche 911, but they are a lot cheaper.

We start by having a look at the current market and the differences between the 4 cylinder, V6, and V8 models. Quite surprisingly, when it comes to the depreciation per year and per 1000 miles, they don’t differ so much. After this, we will dive into the details to figure out how each submarket depreciates. We will have a look at the R model, the V6 S, the chequered flag edition, SVR, R-dynamic, and first edition. Following this we will zoom in at the R market. For this market I will show you how much prices changed over the last 1.5 years, what the score is on the depreciation leadeboard, and what a fair purchasing price is.
