Marisela Blood or Mari as they call her is a Senior at Mart High School who competes in just about every sport. She is also a cheerleader which is very time demanding due to the success of the football program. During the rebuilding process for lady athletics Mari proved to be a leader by participate in all sports. She has evenly actively recruited players for other sports to help the program. Softball is her favorite sport. She even has a few offers to play in college, but she hasn’t let that distract her from giving her all to each sport. She is also one of the top students in her class and takes honors and dual credit classes. Mari is a great example of the dedication that we are looking for in our Lady Panther athletes and when she leaves, she will have left her mark on this program. Blood’s hard work has earned her Class 2A Greater Texas Ford Dealers – Female Athlete of the Month.
