This is a Motormouth couple car review of the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse mid-size 3-row SUV. The Traverse is a 7-8 passenger SUV, it competes with vehicles like the Toyota Grand Highlander and Volkswagen Atlas, both large three-row SUVs like the Traverse.
We really like the bold and rugged looking exterior design of the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse. The phots are of the RS model with black exterior accents, black grille, RS badging and high gloss black 22” wheels. The RS also has a unique suspension for a sportier ride.
The interior display screens are really the highlight of the interior with a standard 17.7” diagonal touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto and an 11” digital driver display. The outgoing Traverse had a standard 7” touchscreen, available 8”, this is a big change. A bench seat or captain’s chairs are available as well as leather trimmed upholstery.
There’s plenty of storage available in the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse and the interior looks clean with the floating centre console which is big enough for a small bag. There’s a column shifter, side by side cup holders for the driver and passenger and a new smart sense liftgate that recognizes your presence and opens for you. The 2024 Chevrolet Traverse has best in class overall cargo space at 98 cubic feet and space behind the third row is very large with under floor storage as well.
