Every year my family exchanges one with one other family member to increase quality over quantity of our gifts. I like to make my gifts thinking about something my person could use as well as help them decrease their GHG emissions. This video is the story of my making process for a vertical planter that I made for my nephew Harrison who recently has got into gardening.
The first part is a failed attempt at making a spot welder from a microwave transformer. But then I made a jig so I can TIG weld very thin sheet metal.
I only use salvaged, reused materials for this project.
