Mark Cuban came onto CNBC after he conducted a two-hour AMA -- Ask Me Anything - on #wallstreetbets on Reddit.

Mark goes into the current state of stock ownership and how it is far different than the ownership of stocks in the past where the stock owners received a dividend and had a true stake in the companies.

Today, stocks are held for the simple purpose of trying to sell them later for a higher value than you purchased for. Hence the reason that people will go onto CNBC to try and pump up the value of the stocks that they own. If an investor truly believed in a company they would not want to talk about it at all, to try and keep the stock price low, so that they could purchase more shares at the discounted price.

But instead, we have the inverse. With everyone trying to pump up the company's stock prices in order to make money when they decide to sell.
