Ptah is considered one of the oldest gods in Egyptian religion and mythology. He is the patron god of sculptors, craftsmen, builders, and artists.
Memphite Theology
Ptah created the world and everything in it by his thought or word. This concept is referred to as Logos creation, a concept that later became a fundamental dogma in monotheistic religions. In the beginning was the Word (Logos), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1
