Hyundai Kona is yet another crossover on the verge of B and C segment. You think KIA Stonic or Volkswagen T-Roc look modern? Hyundai Kona has even more sharp lines and creases. In the front it has not just two, but six lights. LED day running lights, LED headlights, and fog lights. And two reflectors. In the back Kona gets LED tail lamps.
Hyundai Kona is powered by 1-litre 3-cylinder engine producing 122 hp, or a 1.6 4-cylinder 177 hp. The former works with a 6-speed manual, the latter with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The more powerful version has AWD, the 1.0 model is FWD. This test Hyundai Kona is a FWD 1.0. It’s the top Premium trim, which means you have to pay extra only for paint, black roof, orange bits of trim and sat nav, which will set you back less than 27 thousand euro. This means couple less, than VW T-Roc, both with comparable engine and spec.
