Allan Grice, in his STP Holden VH Commodore, reeled in
pole sitter Peter Brock after 6 laps to take the lead in
Round 2 of the 1983 Australian Touring Car Championship.
at Sandown, Victoria.

Allan Moffat was most unlucky when his car broke down
just as he was about to challenge Grice for the lead.

With Peter Brock and George Fury on the front row,
drivers included Allan Moffat, Murray Carter, Dick Johnson,
Fred Gibson, Garry Rogers, Steve Masterton, Steve Harrington,
Peter Janson, Rusty French, Bernie Stack, Joe Beninca,
Lawrie Nelson and Warren Cullen.
