Science is endorsing the facts stated in the Holy Quran: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

The founding-leader of the Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, delivered his third lecture on the ongoing series titled "Why Believe in God?" at Itikaf City. He stated that science is confirming the truths stated in the Quran. He asked the youth to strengthen the bond with Allah's Book to build a strong relationship with the Almighty.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that every particle of the universe bears witness to the existence of God. He said that when scientists, using the knowledge of astronomy, geology, physics, botany, biology, cosmology, and astrology, delve into the mysteries, they raise an unvoiced cry that there is a force that has arranged the existence of the universe in an orderly manner.

“Those who deny the existence of Allah are mentally ill. Instead of paying attention to the mythical tales of atheistic minds, youth should connect with the Quran. The results that science is obtaining today have already been stated in the Holy Quran,” Dr Qadri stated.

The MQI leader said that the experts in Earth sciences have recently reached the conclusion that the mountains above the earth are many times deeper into the earth. The Quran stated 1400 years ago that the earth is continuously in motion, while until three centuries ago, it was claimed that the earth was stationary.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that in 1915, Albert Einstein first rejected the concept of a static universe. In 1929, a scientist named Edwin Hubble revealed that the universe is not only in motion but also expanding. Surah Az-Zariyat states that "Indeed, We are expanding the universe." He said that the question that is even more surprising is that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) did not know how to read or write, despite that, how did he reveal the secrets of the universe that science is confirming today after much hard work and effort?

Dr Qadri said that it is God who, through his beloved Prophet (PBUH), revealed everything about the reality of the universe so that humanity could protect itself from exploitation and misguidance and have unwavering faith in one God. He clarified the scientific truths stated in the Holy Quran through various models and charts.
