New EVs are starting to hit the market while others are still planning for their first EV. Toyota is yet to release a BEV but that might change soon with the unveiling of X-Prologue. Aston Martin is also committed to bringing two battery electric vehicles. And Harley Davidson is getting serious with electric bikes. Although Aston Martin is in a different segment than Tesla, the technology used in their vehicles will determine how much of a threat they are. Whereas Toyota would pose a more direct threat if they got serious about building compelling EVs.
