The FJ40s burning oil like no other. About a quart every 100 miles or so. I needed to locate a motor to swap in while I figure out what to do with the 2F in the 40. In walks this little number from FB marketplace. The seller is a builder out of Colorado who does engine swaps. Lucky me, the owner of this pristine 1984 FJ60 wanted some more power. And I just wanted to quit burning oil… so I bought the engine sight unseen and luckily my Aunt Tami let me store it at her place in Utah.
