PLOT:
Following the song, it shows Diaval and Maleficent caring for each other when their partner is injured. After 21 years together Maleficent finally starts to slowly realize her feelings, which makes her panic because of her last love Stefan who betrayed her, cutting off her wings.

But after the battle with Ingrith she feels so relieved to see him again that she outright admitts that she missed her best friend.
Diaval iss so overjoyed that he proposes to her right before Aurora's wedding, during which they share a smile over the still secret engagement.
In the end Diaval joins the other Fae, returning to the Moors and already carrying a stick for the nest Maleficent and he are going to builld together.
