Is the Rapture —the rising to meet Jesus in the air— Pre or Post-Tribulation? Let's be logical and scriptural. Jesus said
■ "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken" (Matthew 24:29).

End-time events are described in Revelation, as seven consecutive seals are opened. The darkening of the sun and moon, etc, happen at the beginning of the sixth seal:
■ "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind" (Revelation 6:12,13)

Those in Christ (those just resurrected, and those physically alive at that time) rise to meet Him "in the air" (1 Thessalonians 4:17) at the "last trump" (1 Corinthians 15:52) —at the final, 7th trumpet (Revelation 11:15) which is in the seventh seal. All seven trumpets are part of the seventh seal.

The wrath of God is announced at the same last trumpet, and is poured out after those in Christ have risen to meet Him “in the air”:
■ "And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come . . ." (Revelation 11:18)

The rapture —the rising to meet Jesus "in the air"— is post-tribulation and pre-wrath.

After the rapture (but during the wrath) Jesus will return with His raptured saints and destroy the beast, the false prophet and their armies (Revelation 19:11-21). Jesus will rule the Kingdom of God right here on earth:
■ "And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." (Isaiah 2:4)

The raptured saints will rule with Him:
■ "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years." (Revelation 20:6)
