Hey friends! I can't believe it's been over a year since I've made a Dollar Tree extreme budget video! I've been meaning to make one all year and since I was running out of time in the year, figured I'd better get on it! My original video was a 10 item, $10 video. Since the increase in prices I decided to raise my budget to $15 which gave me 12 items, and hence a little more wiggle room in what I was able to get.

The Dollar Tree is a non traditional option that a lot of people either choose to use or have to use for some or all of their grocery shopping. For many of these people the Dollar Tree may be the best option, or the only option, due to availability, distance, or affordability of better grocery options. Not everyone has the ability to access food pantries or food assistance, so please be open minded about the situations of others before criticizing those using Dollar Tree as their primary source of nutrition.
