Maddison would like the world to stop putting us all in boxes – instead, she believes we should be able to showcase our own talents and achievements.

The goal of hosting TEDxYouth@BSN is to spread ideas and spark conversation by providing a platform where they can be shared. This event is first and foremost for the student body and (global) community of the British School in the Netherlands. Maddison believes in being who you are, not what someone else wants you to be. She loves swimming, fighting against injustice and spending time with friends. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
