Gigafactory Texas on 22 March 2021! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!
Great day to fly and capture images and footage on the 8-month of construction anniversary day! The clouds helped with the lighting and I think I got a lot of great shots and even some longer views of certain areas in the video today!

Timestamps:
8-month lookback time progression of three key areas: 0:27 to 3:32
Drone flight footage & infographics: 3:38 to 25:18

Here are highlights from today:
- The cranes in the battery cell area appear to be rigged for heavy lifting so it will be very interesting to see what items they will be helping to install ... perhaps not in the too distant future!
- In the battery cell area, both large excavations are nearly complete with rebar installation on the parallel areas inset into the excavations and concrete looked to be about ready for pouring later this morning!
- In the west steel structure, more work on the ground floor and what appears to be work on at least one elevator shaft. There is another opening in the northwest part of the roof that may be to lower down large equipment for installation, or it could be a freight elevator. The concrete projection on the west side is now clear of forms and the shape is visible ... not yet sure what the purpose is. More concrete floors are being poured this morning.
- The pit on the southwest seems to be related to the fire water loop with deep routing and then termination at a fire hydrant.
- More steel work on the south of the west structure and we actually see a accident with a large forklift carrying steel beams ... looks like it got unbalanced and lost control of the load, spilling it onto the ground. No injuries though, which is good news!
- We look into the south of the paint shop for some extended views to see what they are doing.
- The body-in-white structure is getting more concrete pours on the ground floor slab and more form work where the robotic assemblers are likely to be installed.
- We see more deliveries of equipment to the stamping machine structure, and we see the first column extension being installed on the east side. A close in view of the "notched" area helps to show that it may well be an access point to the roof.
- More clearing and excavation around the remaining ponds to the south makes it appear that these will be filled in soon.
- We see more of the storm water pipes being made, along with manhole access and angled sections. The actual water pipe installation is progressing very rapidly on the east side, now nearing the north diagonal bend on the east side near the casting machine area.
- In the paint shop, we see continued installation of the two production lines on the second floor ... the individual "box" structures are being assembled and connected into contiguous structures, which indicates these are simply prefabricated and assembled self-contained units ... very efficient!
- The electrical trenching has crossed Harold Green and there is a second, parallel trench a little further east. Inspection/maintenance concrete boxes are being installed in pits where the conduits are located, and we see this work underway.
- The switchyard has two large A-frame structures being installed as well as additional equipment and some smaller trenching.

Again, remarkably busy all over the site and a great way to celebrate 8-months of construction. Imagine what it will look like in another 8-months! I can't wait!
