This stream is made possible with Animaze and OBS.

When I started streaming, OBS Studio was what I used: https://obsproject.com/

The problem was I needed something easier to use while multistreaming across YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Open Source software lacks the money corporations have, so I sought a better option.

At the beginning of this year, I upgraded to Streamlabs OBS after a cursory search on how to simplify the process of multistreaming vtuber animation.

As a fork of OBS, it was easy for me to migrate my current knowledge over and learn the new platform. I dumbly assumed (like many others) that by calling itself Streamlabs OBS, they were related.

Up until this week, I was happy paying for a year of Streamlabs Prime because of the ease of use. But it turns out they sit on a throne of lies and stolen work.

A Twitter fight ensued between the OBS Project, Lightstream, and Streamlabs, along with employees involved in all businesses.

This caused a mass exodus away from Streamlabs into other platforms. Personally, I'm going back to OBS Studio, but I welcome suggestions from the crowd.

I prefer open source or lifetime deals, so not interested in anymore monthly fees.
