The new-generation Isuzu MU-X is available in Australia from August 2, 2021.

The large seven-seat SUV has an updated 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine (producing 140kW/450Nm) and a six-speed torque-converter automatic transmission.

It will be available in three trim levels: entry-level LS-M, mid-grade LS-U, and top-spec LS-T. All three grades are available with a 4x2 drivetrain, or as a 4x4 with selectable high- and low-range 4WD.

Warning: prices have gone up across the range – some by about $10,000 – so if you’re keen for a new MU-X, make sure your wallet is suitably chunky.

We’ll be doing on- and off-road reviews in the MU-X as soon as possible but, for now, here’s our video rundown of pricing and features for the line-up.
