There has been several private companies looking to go public through a reverse takeover of a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), and BurgerFi is no exception. On June 8, 2020, it was announced that Opes Acquisition Corp (OPES) and BurgerFi intends to merge, resulting BurgerFi becoming a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ stock exchange. In this video, I’ll be discussing about BurgerFi. I will first provide a brief introduction about the company, what they do, and how they earn income, then I will analyze the company qualitatively, followed by a quantitative analysis, looking at the company’s financials and valuation. I will then conclude on whether I think the company is a buy at its current price and whether I own any shares in this business myself.
